Common Front Art Exhibit

On the 16th and 17th of February 2009, the Common Front Art Exhibit attracted many members of the community. Approximately 100 people visited the exhibits which included “poverty objects”, “Photo Voices”, placards, paintings and a PowerPoint presentation. Several media representatives were present at the official opening: CBC radio and television, Radio-Canada television et radio, Rogers, l’Acadie Nouvelle, etc. Over 30 people wrote their comments in the Visitors Book. A sample of these comments were:

Exposition d’art du Front Commun

Les 16 et 17 février 2009, l’Exposition d’art du Front commun attira bien des personnes de la communauté. Environ 100 personnes visitèrent les objets exposés qui comprenaient des objets représentant le vécu de personnes pauvres, de « Photo-voix », des placards, des peintures et une présentation PowerPoint. Plusieurs représentants des médias étaient présents à l’ouverture officielle : CBC, Radio-Canada, Rogers, l’Acadie Nouvelle, etc. Plus de 30 visiteurs écrivirent leurs commentaires dont voici un échantillon :
